It probably is worth 14 cents at a key number like 3. If Illinois wins the game, it's going to be by exactly three points a large portion of the time.

1/1.11=.90 So exactly 3 win will cost you .90 units

.90/.14=15.56%

Do you really think that game ends at exactly 3 15.56% of the time?

Illinios loses 33% according to the line(which may be total off).

So if Illinios wins then they win by 3 --- 23% of the times they win??

I don't know, but maybe. I don't know the teams that well... and I might have screwed up the math.

i like nebraska but think it's better to wait till gameday to bet it.

what about florida -3? i think the gators have a clear advantage in this game at quarterback, and small edge in coaching. let's not forget this is a tennessee team that lost three games in knoxville last year. i am not sure of exactly how many starters return on each team, but i am thinking florida's are better. don't think this line gets better for florida with 60% favoring them at wagerline in early returns.

plus florida is 2-0 ats so their bettors have money to burn

Default Syracuse and Illinois

Are people really that sold on Syracuse? I just don't see them taking that loss last week lightly. Granted, Illinois is horrid, but I'm staying away from that game.

I really don't like the UGA pick. UGA almost never covers big lines against inferior opponents. UAB also doesn't usually get blown out like that.

If I were you all, I would stay AWAY from the UF/UT game. I'm a UT alum, and I know this team like the back of my hand. This game will be incredibly close, and I'm ONLY considering taking the UT moneyline.

if there was a word that was more horrid than horrid, illinois would be that. they are miserable--they don't have a punter, their defense is non-existent, and their quarterback situation is foul as brasic has terrible pocket presence and doesn't seem to understand the concept of intentional grounding. juice williams and their running game are their only highlights, but their offensive line doesn't give them enough time to do well on the ground. blech.
