Re: Good beer in GREEN bottles does not exist
Fwiw, brown bottles are most widely used due to them blocking out light and thus preserving the integrity of the brew. I'm fairly certain any reputable micro brew in this country doesn't come in clear or green bottles because of this.

toddw8 wins this thread.
I've been to the Cantillon brewery; they literally can't make enough beer to keep up with demand. |

Re: Good beer in GREEN bottles does not exist
I love everyone in this thread saying, "Yeah right, XX Beer is like the Budweiser of (insert native country)." You can say say that about pretty much ANY imported beer sold in six-packs in your average (note: average) liquor or beer store in the U.S. If I go to a bar and I have the selection of Bud, Bud Light, Miller or Stella on tap, I'm ordering Stella every time. If I'm at a beer bar with Staropramen, Budvar (Chezchvar), etc on tap, I'm obvisously not ordering the Stella.
The question was "Are there any good beers in green bottles." I think Stella is a pretty valid answer here. |
