to clarify, i would advocate calling...

if he shows you KKK as this post would suggest, than i think his play is ridiculous.

Do you always just follow everyone else's advice or do you ever think for yourself?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL. Do you really think I needed to read the other replies to come up with my opinion that folding here would be patently stupid?

It's not always so cut and dry in poker buddy. There isn't a set plan where u always do the same thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Umm, yeah okay. But when an awful player open pushes into you on a K 3 2 flop when you have 33, then it is pretty cut. And dried.

Just how did you envision you were going to stack him?

"Villain makes it $30 to go
Folds to Hero, I make it $110 with 3 3
Small blind calls
BB calls
UTG calls
Villain Calls"

I love live poker.

As for the hand, you must call, you are ahead nearly always, from the preflop action and a random push on the flop it looks like a draw and MAYBE 22 always.

He probably had like A4s, A5s and hit making you wonder if it was really worth it.

Hopefully instead you took it down and laughed at yourself after for thinking of a fold.

Hehe. zeebo I appreciate just the time it took to make that post.

[/ QUOTE ]

is it possible zeebo simply recommends calling so much that he has that ready for copy-pasting?

Excellent.

If you're willing to put half your net worth on the line in a spot you view as +EV, welcome to poker.

This is an insta-call. Even IF the guy plays KK pre flop like with without re-raising 5 cold callers, even IF he open pushes with sets, he plays 22 the same way.

Stop playing so high if you're thinking about folding. Basically it doesn't matter how deep you are. If you're properly rolled you can call any amount here.
