Wow, some of the answers in this thread would fall more under "movies that OOT finds awesome". Not very risky picks.

I'll go out on a limb with a couple:

"Doc Hollywood" - standard script, guy gets girl blah blah blah, but I really enjoyed the acting and ass-backwards town in which it took place. Plus, Julie Warner and Bridget Fonda were really hot in this flick.

"Singles" - didn't like it when I saw a pre-screening at ASU while in college. But it kinda grows on you. The dialogue is fairly clever, the premise is pretty cool, the chicks are pretty hot. Uh, I just realized this also has Bridget Fonda in it, and while I normally don't have it in for her that much, she seemed to do a nice job in these two movies.

You Got Served and Zoolander are both good choices.

Also...Cellular, Joyride, Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore is the best movie in the world to watch when you're sick.

The first time I saw Titanic I really liked it and cried a LOT.
