For everyone advocating a flop CR, Im check/raising for value correct? Can my hand withstand a 3 bet all in if I check/potted (id already have almost 3k in there)? Not to mention if its checked around, any turn card pretty much kills my hand in a 4 way pot unless its a 9, 5 or 7. Im not saying im against a CR, im just saying I think either play is sufficient in this spot. And lol at check/folding the flop, whoever said that.

that was more of a sarcastic comment about how i don't like leading, but I def don't think c/f is as terrible as you apparently do.

you say that you like leading because any turn card that doesn't improve you kills your hand, but this thread is about whether you should call a river shove for a huge pot when your hand hasn't improved.

But the board hasnt gotten that bad either. Only hands im scared of are a backdoor JQ (kinda unlikely, but possible) or some 678 hand. Im not the least bit scared of him valuebetting a better 2 pair here

I like a c-rz only if you think there is a very high likelihood button has an overpair, which I think someone stipulated somewhere.

Leading out is probably the best standard play for the reason you mention. What makes a c-rz tempting is just that the flop is so dry that button will bet with any overpair.

If you c-rz and get 3-bet it's an ugly spot but I think you would have to shove at that point for pot odds. You're only 38/68 against AA22 and you'll be a huge favorite against 9876 and a favorite against AA95 or something. Obv against 99/55 you're in terrible shape.

I could see him peeling the flop with KQJ9 or something but do people really with QQJx? I think it's really horrible, but then again people amaze me everyday in PLO so maybe.

I don't know how the games on Ub play but in the FTP 5/10 and 10/20, if I have a read about the player like OP mentioned, I would never think too logically about what they would peel the flop with, because half the time people have no clue what they have.
