Just downloaded like 2 gb of music after reading this thread.

Ok this is one of my areas of expertise, along with marksmanship and calling in close air support so pay attention.

For WSOP IPOD usage you must bring 2 sets of headphones. First off, bring some buds cause you're gonna want to hear what is going on without anyone knowing that you know that they know that you know what they are talking about.

MOST of the time, as bones said, you don't give a [censored] what anyone is saying and want to FOCUS on what you are SEEING or just simply go into your own shell like my introverted ass. These are a must:

Good, so on to your ipod itself. You have to have the video ipod, 80GB.



Why you may ask? Tilt, image and boredom control. Load up some comedy, I like:



and



Comedy makes you forget tilt and if you're bored or whatever, laughing like a maniac for no reason at your otherwise nervous but quiet WSOP table will do wonders for your image and you will get looked up. Which is good.

also, load up some movies just in case.

Now music. You should have several types of music loaded even if you don't like some of them. Why? To change your mood and thus your aggression at various times in the tourney.

My own taste goes toward alt rock and metal, but I also like Bob Marley for tilt control, he can mellow you out in about 15 seconds. Radiohead is good too.

and a bunch more for just being in neutral on an even keel.
