Re: Things that are cheaper than they should be.
Flying. How cheap is it to fly to another country? Prices not only haven't gone up in the last ten years, they've gone down.

You realize the US mail is subsidized by taxes, right? That's like saying "The U.S. army is cheap. I didn't pay anything for it!" [/ QUOTE ] Bzzzzt, try again. 3rd paragragh from bottom |

AAA.
for $50 a year you get roadside assistance wherever you are, they will change a tire, etc. I think it's the only insurance that's +EV |

--- my entry: water (I'm serious) It amazes me how cheap the water bill is for tons of gallons of fresh/clean tap water. And no, I don't buy bottled water, that would be an example of a rip off. [/ QUOTE ] WINNER |

There is a limit to the number of times they come out to you, free of charge. I think it's 3x a year. Still a major deal, IMO, though. |

I dont even know how farmers make money with eggs. Dozen eggs is like 50 cents. That's the best deal in the supermarket. [/ QUOTE ] Along these lines, chicken is ridiculously cheap. $10 or so buys you enough chicken breasts to eat for two weeks or more, and it's even cheaper if you go for halves or quarters where you have to eat around some bones. Compared to beef and pork it's really a bargain. Swede |

Hi speed internet. It's not peanuts or anything, but I don't think I could live without it at this point.
