It is truly frightening to imagine what must go through the mind of a man during a time like this. That somehow Benoit's warped and frustrated soul enveloped his consciousness and overwhelmed every stopper which held back this cascade of inhuman (or maybe it is so purely human that we only kid ourselves) violence, strung out over days surrounded by his murdered family, just blitzed on rage and hate and regret and remorse and somehow knowing that death was the only answer. And his poor child, sitting around watching wrestling with his obviously deteriorating and insane father, tears soaking his shirt, mother strangled and dead in the next room. Jesus.

I saw Kerry Von Erich about two weeks before he died in a bar in Dallas. He was absolutely plastered, but VERY nice to autograph seekers. He took a picture with my friend. He was very wasted but extremely gregarious. I think he lost a leg or something because he hobbled. I believe he was out of rassling for a while, but still pretty big.

I was pretty stunned when I read a couple weeks later he took his life. He seemed pretty happy when I saw him, but he was on something other than the beer he had infront of him, but then again who knows what happens behind closed doors. He was there with some normal looking chick.

Kerry was always a loose cannon. He almost no showed a big main event against Flair because he got insanely hammered due to his being sad over his dog dying. Part of the reason he shot himself was because he was likely facing time in prison from an arrest when he was caught with roids

Did's you are right. Last night I was reading this thread while watching the tribute and someone on this board PM'ed me (a very sexy girl in fact that loves pro wrestling [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]) about Chavo Guererro's statement.

If anyone has a chance you should watch it again, she mentioned how Chavo gave the distinct impression that he's being interviewed as a character witness for the defense during his statement. It was all very creepy.

Today Meltzer reported that Benoit sent some weird text messages to some friends yesterday one of them being Chavo. They were really worried about Benoit and called the police to check on him. The details of the text message has not been released and is still being investigated.

I watched Chavo's statement today and was floored. Chavo talked about how he would trust his kid's life with Benoit and how he spent the last few days with Benoit and what they did, just completely rambling. Hindsight is 20/20 but very creepy how she sent me that message last night as no details whatsoever had been released at that point.
