You can make a counter off you know. And I think we shouldnt clutter up this thread with posts like these. We got our own league page for that.

Could some of the fantasy experts look at this league structure and tell me if it deviates from the norm? It's a total points league, not head to head.

This is my first time doing fantasy football and there's a decent amount at stake. Not sure what my best strategy would be with 10 people in the league. Do I want to take RB's the first couple rounds?

Bob, if you need a RB make me an offer that involves me picking up Roy Williams in some way.

Points per completion is different from the norm. Your structure probally makes QBs a little more valuable then most leagues. Same 15 yards per point to 25 points, it's usally 10 points per yard rushing/receiving.

Sluss,

Appreciate your input very much. Thank you for taking the time.

Wondering why you have Driver so far down (relatively speaking) on the WR list. Also your comment on how many RB's will be there for me at #39....over the past 5 years of our draft, on average, 1 to 2 QB's are gone, and 9 to 11 WR's. So I am looking at the #25 RB on the high end and the #29 on the low end. You really think that crop will still be there.

On everybodys board, could you please list your #25-30 RB's in order. I would love to compare. Mine are F.Taylor(25), T.Bell(26), M.Barber(27), J.Jones(28), A.Green(29), J.Lewis(30).....D.Foster,B.Jackson.......

Two noobish Q's.

1)Normally, what positions tend to be worth the most? I know #1 is RB, what's next? (I feel it's RB-QB-DEF-WR-K-TE)

2)Yahoo just changed their point system.

Passing Yards (25 yards per point)
Passing Touchdowns (4)
Interceptions (-2)
Rushing Yards (10 yards per point)
Rushing Touchdowns (6)
Reception Yards (10 yards per point)
Reception Touchdowns (6)
Return Touchdowns (6)
2-Point Conversions (2)
Fumbles Lost (-2)
Offensive Fumble Return TD (6)
Field Goals 0-19 Yards (3)
Field Goals 20-29 Yards (3)
Field Goals 30-39 Yards (3)
Field Goals 40-49 Yards (4)
Field Goals 50+ Yards (5)
Point After Attempt Made (1)
Sack (1)
Interception (2)
Fumble Recovery (2)
Touchdown (6)
Safety (2)
Block Kick (2)
Points Allowed 0 points (10)
Points Allowed 1-6 points (7)
Points Allowed 7-13 points (4)
Points Allowed 14-20 points (1)
Points Allowed 21-27 points (0)
Points Allowed 28-34 points (-1)
Points Allowed 35+ points (-4)

It used to be every 50 passing yards, passing TD's were 6, and rush/rec was every ten yards. What does this mean for the answer to #1 in terms of what used to be the order and what is the order now?

Thanks.

RB-QB-WR-DEF-TE-K

If the TE is Gates then it's >DEF

But don't DEF's end with more overall points than WR's? and the same with kickers ending with more than TE's? What am I missing?

the difference in points scored between and elite WR and a marginal starting WR is much larger than the difference in points between an elite D/ST and a marginal starting D/ST.
