How does it feel to be proven wrong?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL. At the risk of feeding the troll...

I don't really consider one side of an ownership group selling out to the other side an "ownership change."

Regardless, you're the one who made the incorrect statement of "numerous ownership changes."

If it makes you feel better about yourself though, I'm crushed.

Also, the last three fights on this card are perfect examples of fights that should be 5 rounds.

So now you are pretending Art Davies owned SEG?

I think the only fight that would have the ability to go five rounds is Forrest Griffin and "Shogun" Rua. Liddell fights don't tend to go five rounds because he eventually see's the opening and attacks resulting in a KO or ref stoppage. Also, I really don't want to watch Diego Sanchez go five rounds if he's going to fight the same way he did against Kos.

I do agree with your fight predictions. This is going to be a mediocre UFC at best.

Outside of the poor main event, I think this is a very good card.

That fight is an aberration, IMO. He was battling with Staph infection (and the day prior thought he had Hepatitis and was going to retire).

Davie (without the "s") started WOW Productions and partnered with SEG. After UFC 5, WOW was disbanded and Davie and Rorion sold their interest to SEG. So, no, I'm not pretending Art owned SEG.

I really need to stop talking to you though.

LOL @ DannyOcean thinking Mir could ever beat Fedor. So hilarious. Also lol @ Mir being a better BJJ heavyweight than De Pano or Werdum.

MikeyPatriot: If you consider Gracie/Davie selling the UFC to SEG who then sold it to Zuffa being one ownership change then congrats. You are right. You've probably only been aware of the UFC since The Ultimate Fighter reality show. Kind of like resident expert Danny Ocean.

Mir looked great for a while. A lot of people in MMA thought he was the next big thing. You don't have to agree that he would have been, but it's a legit argument pre-motorcycle-death-career-rape. Also, De Pano is not even relevant to the HW division. I could have listed Monson as a better grappler, but Monson sucks at MMA. Why even bother mentioning pure grapplers who don't matter in mma. so i consider Big Nog and Frank Mir to be two of the best BJJ guys actively involved in the hunt for a championship.

Troll. You are trying to sound like you lord over the sport and everyone who disagrees is a TUF noob naturally. Care to point out your dumbass "no ufc talent just TUF guys and pride buyouts" argument? Care to refute the that? Or just going to nitpick about whether frank mir is the #2 or #3 grappler in the HW division? the point is he's a damn good grappler moran.

Wow.

Just watched the weigh-ins and Shogun got some mad props from the crowd including a "Shogun! Shogun! Shogun!" chant while I heard some boos for Forrest.
