ok cool... i know they are not evidence in themselves, but provides a good general picture of how sick it was to see him being right on every single read. Besides, despite it was his first time playing in that tournament, he had some sick confidence.. only reason I survived to 4th place was that b/c a buddy told me to stay away from that guy, not even make c-bets at all.

(not saying he does cheat - I don't know, but you trying to read "behind" his words is weird). |

Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)
The only official word from an AP rep so far, over at Poker Affiliate World (from an aff manager):
Hi All, Thank you for your patience in this urgent issue. Let me start off by stating in 100% confidence that, fair play and security is of paramount importance to Absolute Poker. We have temporarily frozen accounts that have been brought to our attention while we perform an extensive investigation. While we are continuing with our investigation, we have yet to find any evidence of wrong doing. Our game client only receives data regarding the individuals hand and no other players hole cards, except in the event of a showdown. The player’s and their respective actions that are in question, all come from a small sample of Hands. We have researched their play exhaustively and have found no proof that they had any knowledge of other player’s hole cards. There were hands that were played poorly -- from a poker strategy perspective -- and these players did receive a fortunate result. So far we have no evidence that substantiates claims that any of the players were involved in chip dumping, or any other improper activity. Because of the seriousness of these allegations, we have not closed the investigation and are continuing to look very closely into this matter. We will notify you if we obtain any new information regarding these claims. Kindest Regards, Danielle http://www.pokeraffiliateworld.com/forum....html#post66176 |

Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)
stream of consciousness post incoming. I'm writing down every single hand:
2nd hand (5 handed table): Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [Kc 10s] *** POCKET CARDS *** MONSTERHOOD - Raises $7200 to $7200 BIGGIES05 - Folds POTRIPPER - Raises $40800 to $40800 only fold in the first 8 hands is UTG - someone else raises UTG+1 6th hand: Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [Ah 9c] THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Raises $7200 to $7200 BIGGIES05 - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $6000 BLANCONEGRO - Folds *** FLOP *** [2s 9h 3c] POTRIPPER - Checks MONSTERHOOD - Bets $17000 POTRIPPER - Folds 2 more PF folds in 8 hands (not much to go on in either) prior to FT bubble bursting, which happens like this: BIGGIES05 - All-In(Raise) $28708 to $28708 POTRIPPER - Calls $28708 BLANCONEGRO - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Folds THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds *** FLOP *** [7c 3h Ac] *** TURN *** [7c 3h Ac] [8s] *** RIVER *** [7c 3h Ac 8s] [2d] *** SHOW DOWN *** POTRIPPER - Shows [As 9d] (One pair, aces) BIGGIES05 - Shows [Ks Qh] (ace high) so he calls a 10x shove with A9o UTG+1 and has the best hand. interesting. Start of FT: Seat 5 - BLANCONEGRO ($117982.04 in chips) Seat 6 - BIGSLICK444 ($59190.50 in chips) Seat 7 - THE_GUN_SHOW ($53240 in chips) Seat 9 - MIKECAROJR ($44430.50 in chips) Seat 8 - CRAZYMARCO ($321308.50 in chips) Seat 1 - MONSTERHOOD ($68420 in chips) Seat 4 - PLETT25 ($63374 in chips) Seat 3 - POTRIPPER ($252054.46 in chips) This is the first hand at the FT. Note the odd fold here that we wouldn't see if he was cheating. An alibi? Read on: Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [Kh 4h] THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds MIKECAROJR - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Raises $8400 to $8400 POTRIPPER - Folds PLETT25 - Folds BLANCONEGRO - Folds BIGSLICK444 - Folds MONSTERHOOD - returned ($5600) : not called very next hand: CRAZYMARCO - Raises $7175 to $7175 MIKECAROJR - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $7175 PLETT25 - Folds BLANCONEGRO - Raises $23700 to $23700 BIGSLICK444 - Folds THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds POTRIPPER - Folds BLANCONEGRO - returned ($16525) : not called Again, this looks like a legitimate donk play. These two hands back to back seem like a solid alibi. Except the next hand: Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [Qd Qc] *** POCKET CARDS *** MIKECAROJR - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Raises $8400 to $8400 POTRIPPER - Folds this is his fourth PF fold so far in ~12-15 hands. But the hand after that: Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [Ac Jh] *** POCKET CARDS *** MONSTERHOOD - Raises $8400 to $8400 POTRIPPER - Calls $8400 PLETT25 - Folds BIGSLICK444 - Folds BLANCONEGRO - Folds THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds MIKECAROJR - Folds *** FLOP *** [10h Qs 2c] MONSTERHOOD - Checks POTRIPPER - Bets $28000 MONSTERHOOD - Folds If the hand before that was a 'respect the EP raiser' spot, this one seems odd. These are the first four hands at the FT, in order. Tentative conclusion: When he moved to the FT, the hole card cam wasn't on, and turning it on takes a few seconds - maybe you need to specify the table. Hand 5: Potripper raises UTG and steals the blinds. Hand 6: CRAZYMARCO - Raises $7175 to $7175 MIKECAROJR - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $4375 *** FLOP *** [3d 5h 9d] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Bets $10175 POTRIPPER - Calls $10175 *** TURN *** [3d 5h 9d] [Jc] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Checks *** RIVER *** [3d 5h 9d Jc] [2d] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Bets $25175 POTRIPPER - Folds Somebody ask CrazyMarco what he had here. I think this is important. Hand 7: *** POCKET CARDS *** BLANCONEGRO - Folds BIGSLICK444 - Folds THE_GUN_SHOW - Calls $3200 MONSTERHOOD - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds MIKECAROJR - Folds POTRIPPER - Raises $8000 to $9600 PLETT25 - Folds THE_GUN_SHOW - Calls $6400 *** FLOP *** [10d 5s Ah] POTRIPPER - Bets $12800 THE_GUN_SHOW - All-In(Raise) $37440 to $37440 POTRIPPER - Folds I'm willing to bet TheGunShow had exactly a ten. DUCY? Hand 8: Potripper steals blinds with an uncalled 8x raise Hand 9: Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [Kc 2h] THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds MIKECAROJR - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Raises $9600 to $9600 POTRIPPER - Raises $25600 to $25600 Hand 10: Potripper steals blinds Hand 11: POTRIPPER - Raises $9600 to $9600 PLETT25 - Folds BLANCONEGRO - Folds THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds BIGSLICK444 - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Calls $6400 *** FLOP *** [Jh 5h As] CRAZYMARCO - Checks POTRIPPER - Bets $19200 CRAZYMARCO - Folds Hand 12: Potripper open folds PF, folding for the first time since hand #3 of the FT POTRIPPER - Folds eventually... CRAZYMARCO - Shows [Ac Ah] (Two Pair, aces and nines) Hand 13: CRAZYMARCO - Raises $8175 to $8175 MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $4975 *** FLOP *** [Jc Ad 8c] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Checks *** TURN *** [Jc Ad 8c] [6h] POTRIPPER - Bets $3200 CRAZYMARCO - Calls $3200 *** RIVER *** [Jc Ad 8c 6h] [Js] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Bets $25175 POTRIPPER - Folds another minbet bluff from PR on the turn. I'll put $ on CM having a jack here. Hand 14: Potripper sees souls good THE_GUN_SHOW - Raises $7660 to $7660 CRAZYMARCO - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $6060 PLETT25 - Folds *** FLOP *** [5h 6s Jc] POTRIPPER - Checks THE_GUN_SHOW - Checks *** TURN *** [5h 6s Jc] [9c] POTRIPPER - Checks THE_GUN_SHOW - Bets $9500 POTRIPPER - Raises $25400 to $25400 THE_GUN_SHOW - Calls $15900 *** RIVER *** [5h 6s Jc 9c] [6c] POTRIPPER - Bets $17000 THE_GUN_SHOW - Calls $17000 *** SHOW DOWN *** POTRIPPER - Shows [10d Jd] (Two Pair, jacks and sixes) Seat 7: THE_GUN_SHOW HI: [Mucked] [9d Kd] Hand 15: he steals blinds Hand 16: THE_GUN_SHOW - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Raises $8175 to $8175 MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $8175 PLETT25 - Folds BLANCONEGRO - Raises $24000 to $25600 BIGSLICK444 - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds POTRIPPER - Folds okay, another one of these. doubledrag does this a whole lot in his cash games, too. but you can argue this is evidence of legitimacy. Hand 17: the second PF fold to one raise since hand #3 Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [Jh Js] CRAZYMARCO - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Raises $8000 to $8000 POTRIPPER - Folds 18: Pot steals blinds 19: first flop check/fold of the session, I think? PLETT25 - Raises $10800 to $10800 BLANCONEGRO - Folds BIGSLICK444 - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $7200 *** FLOP *** [8s Jd 4h] POTRIPPER - Checks PLETT25 - Bets $10800 POTRIPPER - Folds 20: POTRIPPER - Raises $5400 to $7200 PLETT25 - Calls $3600 *** FLOP *** [7h 4c Ac] POTRIPPER - Bets $3600 PLETT25 - Calls $3600 *** TURN *** [7h 4c Ac] [Kd] POTRIPPER - Bets $7200 PLETT25 - Folds the stack sizes now look like this: Seat 4 - PLETT25 ($51454 in chips) Seat 5 - BLANCONEGRO ($144882.04 in chips) Seat 6 - BIGSLICK444 ($39110.50 in chips) Seat 8 - CRAZYMARCO ($359474 in chips) Seat 1 - MONSTERHOOD ($66800 in chips) Seat 3 - POTRIPPER ($318279.46 in chips) 21: first potripper open limp of the session, which comes on the button POTRIPPER - Calls $3600 PLETT25 - Calls $1800 BLANCONEGRO - Raises $12500 to $16100 POTRIPPER - Calls $12500 PLETT25 - Folds *** FLOP *** [10h 7s 7d] BLANCONEGRO - Checks POTRIPPER - Bets $3600 BLANCONEGRO - Raises $16000 to $16000 POTRIPPER - Calls $12400 *** TURN *** [10h 7s 7d] [Jh] BLANCONEGRO - Checks POTRIPPER - Bets $43200 BLANCONEGRO - Raises $111600 to $111600 POTRIPPER - Raises $180000 to $223200 BLANCONEGRO - All-In $822.04 POTRIPPER - returned ($110777.96) : not called *** RIVER *** [10h 7s 7d Jh] [2s] *** SHOW DOWN *** POTRIPPER - Shows [7c 9h] (Three of a kind, sevens) BLANCONEGRO - Shows [Jc Kd] (Two Pair, jacks and sevens) 22: Note that a 5 is missing from the deck to start this hand Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [5s 6d] MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Raises $10800 to $10800 PLETT25 - Folds BIGSLICK444 - All-In(Raise) $36590.50 to $38390.50 CRAZYMARCO - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $27590.50 *** FLOP *** [Ks 3h 10c] *** TURN *** [Ks 3h 10c] [Kh] *** RIVER *** [Ks 3h 10c Kh] [Qs] *** SHOW DOWN *** POTRIPPER - Shows [Jd Kc] (Three of a kind, kings) BIGSLICK444 - Shows [5c 5d] (Two Pair, kings and fives) 23: pot steals blinds 24: pot folds for the third or fourth time since hand 3 PLETT25 - Raises $10800 to $10800 POTRIPPER - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Raises $30175 to $30175 MONSTERHOOD - Folds PLETT25 - All-In(Raise) $35614 to $46414 CRAZYMARCO - Calls $16239 *** FLOP *** [Qc 6c 8s] *** TURN *** [Qc 6c 8s] [4s] *** RIVER *** [Qc 6c 8s 4s] [Jd] *** SHOW DOWN *** PLETT25 - Shows [Kh Ks] (One pair, kings) CRAZYMARCO - Shows [3h 3s] (One pair, threes) hand 25: first potripper checkdown Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [9c 4d] CRAZYMARCO - Raises $8175 to $8175 MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Calls $6375 PLETT25 - Folds *** FLOP *** [2s 3c 4c] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Checks *** TURN *** [2s 3c 4c] [6h] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Checks *** RIVER *** [2s 3c 4c 6h] [5h] POTRIPPER - Checks CRAZYMARCO - Checks *** SHOW DOWN *** POTRIPPER - Shows [8d Js] (Straight, two to six) CRAZYMARCO - Shows [4h Ac] (Straight, two to six) hand 26: note two diamonds are missing Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [4d 3d] MONSTERHOOD - Folds POTRIPPER - Raises $7200 to $7200 PLETT25 - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Calls $3600 *** FLOP *** [Ah 2h 5d] CRAZYMARCO - Checks POTRIPPER - Checks *** TURN *** [Ah 2h 5d] [Kd] CRAZYMARCO - Checks POTRIPPER - Bets $7200 CRAZYMARCO - Calls $7200 *** RIVER *** [Ah 2h 5d Kd] [8h] CRAZYMARCO - Checks POTRIPPER - Bets $14400 CRAZYMARCO - Calls $14400 *** SHOW DOWN *** POTRIPPER - Shows [Jd Ac] (One pair, aces) Seat 8: CRAZYMARCO (big blind) HI: [Mucked] [9d 8d] 27: POTRIPPER - Raises $7200 to $7200 PLETT25 - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Folds MONSTERHOOD - Calls $3600 with two random cards that aren't an A, 5 or 4 *** FLOP *** [4c Ad 5c] MONSTERHOOD - Checks POTRIPPER - Bets $7200 MONSTERHOOD - Folds 28: he has the pot odds to make this call if he puts monsterhood exactly on A3 Seat 1 - MONSTERHOOD ($51680 in chips) Seat 3 - POTRIPPER ($558072 in chips) Seat 4 - PLETT25 ($93188 in chips) Seat 8 - CRAZYMARCO ($277060 in chips) MONSTERHOOD - Ante $360 POTRIPPER - Ante $360 PLETT25 - Ante $360 CRAZYMARCO - Ante $360 MONSTERHOOD - Posts small blind $1800 POTRIPPER - Posts big blind $3600 Dealt to MONSTERHOOD [As 3d] *** POCKET CARDS *** PLETT25 - Folds CRAZYMARCO - Raises $8175 to $8175 MONSTERHOOD - All-In(Raise) $49520 to $51320 POTRIPPER - Calls $47720 CRAZYMARCO - Folds *** TURN *** [Jh Qc 5d] [Kd] *** FLOP *** [Jh Qc 5d] *** RIVER *** [Jh Qc 5d Kd] [Ad] *** SHOW DOWN *** MONSTERHOOD - Shows [As 3d] (One pair, aces) POTRIPPER - Shows [Qh 10s] (Straight, ten to ace) |

Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)
FWIW, Danielle is my aff manager too, and while she's a sweetheart and knows a lot of affiliate stuff, I do not think that she has much access to / say in gameplay stuff -- the preceding is just my opinion from my previous dealings with her.
I would not put the "official AP statement" stamp on what she wrote. |
