It has worked out to be a mutually beneficial (and mutually profitable) relationship. I can safely say I've saved him tens of thousands of tables by forcing him to get up from the tables when he's playing on tilt (from being too tired, frustrated, acting like a donkey). And clearly it has worked out pretty well for me.

It's also INCREDIBLY helpful to have someone to discuss hands with (either on chat or on the phone). His style of play is completely different from mine (he's a LAG and I'm a nit), so getting some insight into his mindset helps quite a bit.

Those animals should take a long look at themselves. That is very ungrateful against a guy that fed them for years.

Sounds like he continued to feed them even after his death.

He probably would have wanted it that way.

suzzer99: so annoying
suzzer99: also no one else at this table has said a word this entire tourney
suzzer99: freerolls are serious business you know
suzzer99: dont chat with me or the next thing you know you'll be giving your bank account number to a nigerian exporter
suzzer99: it could happen
suzzer99: best just to remain quiet and turdlike
suzzer99: its the safest way

They all had their chat banned for saying "turdlike".

Ya, all I read was the headline. That was more than I needed to know. I agree with Peru here. Bengie - you'll have a way better understanding of stuff like this in the future if/when you have kids.

A friend and I are driving up to an old friend's wedding where we'll need to stay 1-2 nights. The invitation gives the name of the hotel and says to mention you're with such-and-such wedding. I said to my friend we'd probably get 2 nights unless it's super expensive, and he said "doesn't the bride's family pay for that?"

Obviously (at least in the old days) the bride's family paid for the wedding itself, but for accommodations? Any truth to this?
