Just to update any who are thinking about sending ID:

I sent ID to FON with all the extra stuff (driver's lisence #, DOB, etc.) blacked out, and he accepted it as verified ID.

well 21 is more than a adult and some of your post more than hint this wasn't just a case of "i didn't wanted to call the broker" but more a case of "i was considering running with the money.
if someone stiffs me on a $50 bet they got hell to pay. if someone senior in college thinks of running with 100k then i got a real problem. and then more or less says we're are the sorry saps that payed his way through school and allowed him to work just summers...lol. some nerve son.

I and my 3 friends that signed up through you have not been sent emails stating we need ID's sent. we all checked your website 1 week ago and saw you closed shop. if we don't get payment on time some or most of us will be investigating other avenues.
