Re: NBA Playoffs
kyleb is spot on about Booz. Boozer & Lebron = championship contender every year that they're healthy.

Re: NBA Playoffs
Best individual performance in a long, long time. Definitely Top 5 that I can ever remember. Lebron may very well be the second coming of Jesus.

Re: NBA Playoffs
I loved how they kept having Varejao make futile attempts at screens that did nothing more than make it easy for the Pistons to double Lebron. It's amazing he can overcome the [censored] that surrounds him.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Marv's going overboard. DET basically fed Lebron layups. [/ QUOTE ] Hahaha- 45 mins of play and he still has the burst that he had in the first quarter, that was why it was so open. [/ QUOTE ] oh come on. He's a 22 year old athlete in peak physical shape. I'm not saying it isn't impressive or anything. A couple of those 3s were nasty, but best of all time? What about the two clanked free throws down by 1? What about the, "oh, 6 seconds left in a tie ball game and I can get to the rim at will.. maybe I'll pull up from 20 and airball it." It was great, but he's getting stroked a little much over it. [/ QUOTE ] I think it may be the best of all time when you consider: 1. He was playing a very good defensive team and guarded by a very good defender(Prince) 2. His teamates were providing no support |

Re: NBA Playoffs
kyle,
they can't get it in writing, though. They'd get fined. I dunno.. maybe CLE's FO is that retarded (Larry Hughes as evidence). But why would they give him free agency when they KNEW they couldn't match any of the big offers he'd get. It just doesn't make sense. Boozer [censored] them, plain and simple. If he wasn't willing to take that deal from the Cavs, the Cavs had no chance of keeping him, anyway. He was always going to get more money elsewhere. |

Yeah, his pull up Js were awesome. But there is no, NO, NO excuse for a tough, defensive minded team to give him that many dunks and layups. Leaving Maxiell stranded on him. You at least have to put him on the line and make him earn it. DET played terribly. |

Still one hell of a performance though and one hell of an overrated supporting cast. I think me and Vincent were the only ones who said Cavs had a chance in this series, which is strange cause a worse Cavs team took a better Pistons team to 7 games last year. |
