Re: NBA Playoffs
Charles just likened it to MJ blowing up for 60 in the garden. In actuality, they aren't close.

Re: NBA Playoffs
i agree with everyone saying to double lebron as soon as he gets the ball. Everyone else on the Cavs was just standing there from the 4th quarter on. Make them make a shot!!!! Lebron scores 29 of their last 30 points and you don't double him on the last possession? What is Flip thinking?

Re: NBA Playoffs
[ QUOTE ]
I was too young to really remember Jordan's heyday in detail, but he always had at least one legitimate offensive threat on the court with him. Tonight, it was literally Lebron v. the Pistons. FWIW, I only saw the end of regulation on. [/ QUOTE ] That's what was so frustrating to watch. It should have been Lebron versus the Pistons.. but instead, it was Lebron versus Maxiell, with no help behind. Or against Tay, with no help. Or against Billups, with no help. They played him terribly. |

Re: NBA Playoffs
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] also wouldn't it be great if carlos boozer was on the cavs? oh good one you idiots in the front office [/ QUOTE ] are you not familiar with what transpired there? Boozer [censored] them big time. [/ QUOTE ] yeah, okay. [ QUOTE ] Reportedly, the Cavaliers reached what they felt was a verbal understanding with Boozer. They would forgo their right to keep him for an extra year at relatively low pay, and instead allow him to become a restricted free agent. In exchange, he was expected to sign a long-term agreement with the Cavaliers, and not to sign an offer from any other team, despite the fact that he would certainly receive offers for more money than what Cleveland could afford in the new contract. The fact that Cleveland was over the salary cap apparently meant that both sides understood the parameters of the new contract with Cleveland would be approximately $40 million over six years. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] There was no commitment, it's unfortunate how it went through the media but I'm really excited to be in the situation I'm in... It's against the rules, first of all, to have [a pre-arranged agreement]. I'm not a guy that gives my word and then takes it away, I think I made that clear.[2] [/ QUOTE ] And of course, the golden [censored] rule.... [ QUOTE ] As Boozer's comment indicated, an explicit contract agreement would not be permissible under the NBA's collective bargaining rules, and would be punishable by the league if it were discovered. Despite this fact, it is still believed to be common practice among NBA teams and players to make such agreements secretly. [/ QUOTE ] ...always get it in writing. Carlos Boozer may be a [censored], but ALWAYS. GET. IT. IN. WRITING. |

[/ QUOTE ] I remember KG doing the exact same thing to Sacramento about 4ish yrs ago, but this for CRUSHES KG's performance. [/ QUOTE ] jesus.. he got so many easy layups because they never brought a double in time. It didn't really blow me away. [/ QUOTE ] HAHAHAHA |
