Re: Official Party Regulars Thread
Shrug, I don't mind people buying in for 20bbs as long as they're donks. I know that sounds stupid since if the donks can buyin for 20bbs anybody really should, but my point is that buying in for 20bbs isn't nessicarily the problem, it's the nitty shortstacks that abuse that ability that ruin everything.
I'd be happy if the min-buyin was raised to 30-40bbs, though. Most fish would still be able to play and it would discourage ratholing tremendously. |

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread
Min buying is totally fine and more profitable for us in long-run. It is the ratholing that must go. Ongame never allowed ratholing, so not like the technology is to hard or something. I beleive it was like an hour, before you could min buy again.

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread
I think setting a higher min buy-in won't happen since very few other sites has higher min buy-ins. But not allowing jumping back and forth in and out of the same table is a good start for Party

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread
My VIP rep also told me the ratholing fix is near -- they were hoping to get it done for the early Sept update, but couldn't.
Now they're shooting for the early-Oct update. I am not holding my breath, but i have been assured by my rep whom i trust that it's their #1 priority right now |

Is there a link or thread anywhere about how to set up Bank Wire Transfer? [/ QUOTE ] It is very straightforward as long as you know your banks address, your transit #, and account #. |

In reality I expect it to be a positive for midstakes, but not highstakes. There are a ton of terrible unkowns who just buy in for min (or just over) in the big games and now will have to move down to donk away their money. |
