Eh well it was over anyway as I would have:

1) checked wdcbooks this round, got back that he's a villager
2) seen shortline99 killed, probably
3) known that thedirtydirty, junkmail3, wdcbooks were villagers and that wildzer0 had been inactive the whole day, so unlikely to be him
4) therefore narrowed it down to cit or tickner, and either got him, or the other would have died the next turn

so yeah, it was game over.

Note to future admins:

Do not have the angel & the conceding wolf side by side on AIM
...and then type "what about cit? he's still alive!"

...in the angel's box. oops

I sure hope it was a done deal anyway...hate to mess you guys up having come this far.

I think that the big wolf mistake (which I commented on at the time) was killing off chase instead of a more viable angel... though I don't know how close you guys were to coming after me.

I'd been on cit for the whole game, so if I didn't die at night, I was going right after him the next day. And as tigerite pointed out, I think it was mathematically over anyway.

gg. was fun to not be a regular old shmoe

I hadn't checked chase, that seemed a very bizarre killing to me. They only killed off durron in the end that I'd checked at all. I knew junkmail wasn't a wolf, I checked him 2nd. Durron first because I needed to know if he was on our side or not My 3rd go was shortline.. so I knew you were the angel from early doors.

for the record:

angel, shortline99
seer, tigerite
wolf, snarf
wolf, xxsooted
wolf, citanul
wolf, spentrent

congrats villagers!

[/ QUOTE ]

I think cit played the wolf pretty good.

For the record, I was pretty sure our ANGEL was a WOLF

GG, Ill be a much better player in the next game. I sucked. However, a lot of the accusations and things I said were "probing" and "testing" to see how others reacted.

I knew (or at least strongly suspected) tigerite was the seer pretty early on since he defended me for no reason when he said:

[ QUOTE ]

I don't believe shortline99 is a wolf, nothing he's done has given any kind of indication of that. Obviously they're hiding in the shadows somewhere.

[/ QUOTE ]

This was right after the third night. He hadn't said anything about anyone to protect or accuse up to that point. Having no reason to come out and protect me, he was either a wolf who misread things and thought I was too () or the seer. For a few rounds I considered protecting you just in case, 'cause I didn't think I was a target.

I'm going through withdrawl aftern getting knocked out on night 1 of WW3 and missing WW4 signup.

For WW5 I vote we try one of the variants.

I was thinking of the very simple variant of 2 seers and 0 angels. Thoughts?
