i'm 0-7 with sets gone to showdown since yesterday. lost 5 to flushes, one to quads, and one to overset. i'm on a nice 9 buy-in plunge over my last 8k hands.

I am sorry to hear this, but happy to know that I am not the only one taking a beating. I can't remember the last time I won with a set. Hope life gets better for both of us [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Unlike you guys, I'm happy to announce that the first time I played in about a week on Saturday I came in 76th/800+ in the $50k supernova, and also won 4 BI's at $50NL in 1k hands [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]. I'll take it for now, seeing as how I feel like I'm rusty.

I just switched from SNGs to NLH.
Well, "switched" might be an exaggeration as SNGs should still be more profitable for quite some time for me. But I'm playing more cashgames now.

Started out at 50 NL 6 max at Stars and was hating it. I was losing, I felt like I wasn't all that unlucky, but rather couldn't adjust to the...well, weird play. And cash games in general.
I was in the red for well over 14k hands, but now with this last session, $340.65 in 867 hands, I can finally say I have a positive record at the level.

Well, that was all very informative, eh?
Maybe not. Just trying to say that this forum might be my "home forum" for a while now, so uh...hi.
