I only read the post you linked to in the Adam22 thread, not the whole thread. So I apologize if you called him whorish somewhere in there that I missed.

Calling a girl "whorish" != saying "this is so sad".

I also didn't notice where you called KK's current partner a whore.

I submit that whether you admit it to yourself or not, you still use a double standard.

I also submit that the word "whorish" is unnecessarily pejorative regardless of your opinion of the behavior in question.

In fact, I submit that your post made you look like kind of a jerk.

Edit: By the way, you don't know me at all, I'm sure, and I don't actually think you are a jerk. I have enjoyed many of your posts. Your posts in this thread were not among them.

1) CSC's viewpoint that unmarried sex is wrong is likely the result of teaching from those who reared him (most likely parents, though not necessarily). (though this is true of nearly all moral viewpoints) It is perhaps religious in nature.

Sex between two consenting adults (each outside of a realtionship) is not wrong. Or contemptable. Or anything. Its their choice.


2) The whole "men are studs women are whores" for people who have a lot of sex, though clearly unfair, is a function of our biology, and not an arbitrary decision from society.


Biologically, men SHOULD have more casual sex than women


(though, Im not saying we should have a double standard. I just think most are unaware where this one comes from)

what I actually meant by that statement was:

"saying casual sex is wrong, is wrong, since morals cant exist objectively"

and not

"casual sex is not wrong"
