I have added support for Holdem Manager to my tableselection software SpadeEye (Version 2.18):
http://www.spadeit.com/eyeindex.php

Currently not all stats are supported.
For example "Aggressionfactor" and "attention to Steal" is missing, but i guess most of you search their tables by VPIP, PFR and "Amount won"...

To add the Holdem Manager database into SpadeEye:
- Select "Holdem Manager" as Type
- Put "localhost" as Host
- The Database is "HoldemManagerBeta"
The other values depend on your PostgreSQL settings.

Oh and besides:
I guess scanning with the Holdem Manager database is pretty much faster then everything else before.

Wow... integration with your app 15 hours after I launched it! Pretty sweet!

"quite a large difference in total rake produced ($250.18 in HM vs. $118.00 in PT)."

Are you quoting the PT Total Rake column, because that confusingly isn't the total rake you have paid. It is the total rake on hands won, your total rake paid (MGR) is on another tab. I assume that Total Rake in Hold'em Manager is MGR.

Hi,

The Filter PFR = True means that every time the action gets to you you raise - that includes all the times when someone bet before you. What makes it confusing is that VPIP and PFR are based on total hands. So, 100 hands and you VPIP 20 of them and PFR 15 of them than you obviously have 20% VPIP and 15% PFR. But... 3Bet% is based on 3Bets Made / 3Bet Opportunities so in those same 100 hands, if it was raised before you 30 times and you 3 bet 10 times then your 3Bet% would be 33% which is even higher than your VPIP.

So, back to this example, out of those 11526 hands maybe 2000 had a raiser come in before you. Since your filter is PFR=True then all 2000 of those times you raised giving you a 100% 3Bet%.

If you don't want to include 3Bet hands with the PFR filter than in the more filters tab select Did3Bet = False and keep PFR = True

That is correct, I use "total rake / players who were dealt card" for each hand.

regarding the differences between HM and PT, chances are PT is correct. They have had years to work out all the import kinks so I'd be surprised if their total $ and other stats like that were incorrect. HM will get up to 100% import accuracy but it'll happen gradually over the beta period. For example, one problem I am aware of with Party is if someone joins the hand late then the hand won't import. That'll be fixed soon.

Hey RVG,

Just about to get started trying your product. Would be great if you could clarify something regarding VPIP,PFR,3-bet from your post above.

I understand that 3-bet is the % of times you did the action given the opportunity to do so. OK, so if you 3-bet does that also still count to your PFR and VPIP?

Yes - VPIP and PFR look at every single hand (including 3 bet hands) and 3-bet just looks at 3 bets / chances to 3 bet
