[ QUOTE ]
This is so inane. Especially after such a long day. The problem is that ALL my days are long. I wake up with the most annoying alarm buzzing off at 7am. Then heat up whatever breakfast that was dropped off for me at the hotel the night before, drive one hour in congested LA traffic to work out with my personal trainer in West Hollywood, then do some errands and shopping (Today I stopped by Urth Cafe on Melrose for fresh ground coffee and teas, and shopped for lingerie and clothes at Bloomingdales in the Beverly Center), then drive another hour in traffic back to the Commerce. When I finally get there I take a long hot shower and put on something nice to wear, fix my hair, make up, etc.. Once I feel fresh and ready for the day, I have lunch. During lunch, I read the news on msnbc.com, check my email, and respond to any fan mail I've received. After that, I play poker from about 12pm to 11pm, then I either go out or order a movie on PPV (tonight I hit up Hollywood hotspot, AREA). I then wash, brush my teeth and floss, before I get into bed after which I then spend at least another hour reading (I am currently reading 3 books: F. Scott Fitzgerald's Tender Is the Night, The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho, and 5 Factor Diet).

My point is this: I don't have the time for this crap!

Urrggh. Up til now this has been pretty entertaining. I'm not sure why, but for some reason this particular post made me stop smiling. Brandi-land - really, really bad place to be. Seriously.

I'm still devastated that she stopped working at the rhino. That would have been beyond amazing and funny.

*sigh*

I'd recommend Lolita, Anna Karenina, and The Scarlet Letter as well, for a variety of reasons.

I don't get that one.. Anna was mistreated by society for following her heart. I don't think thats the analogy you're trying to make here, is it?

Or are you only mentioning it bc she threw herself in front of a train at the end? Because thats just mean.

Also, all the main characters in the books you mention are known for their troubles being caused by men. Lolita- the victim of a pedophile, Anna- the victim of a loveless marriage and a spineless lover, and Hester- an absent husband and absent father to her child. Pick better lit next time.
