I'm trading Larry Fitzgerald for Derek Anderson and Derrick Mason.

My QBs will be Anderson, Jason Campbell and Matt Leinart (we start two of them). I am cutting Alex Smith if the trade goes through.

My WRs will be Javon Walker, Antwaan Randle El, Shaun McDonald, Lee Evans and Derrick Mason.

Anderson is the #5 QB in my league. Fitz is the #38 WR and Mason is #17.

Any thoughts?

I dislike it. I am very skeptical about Anderson keeping this up. That cinci game really makes him look better then he is. And Mason's stats are about to bottom out, because Clayton is almost 100% again. he caught 5 balls last week, and will be back to his 7balls 100+ yard games soon.

Anyone believe in this kid who backs up cadillac ? He's still on waivers. I can't believe he'd ever get more then rbbc status.

I'm trying to dump Cadillac while he's hot. I have an assload of running backs and trying to deal him straight up for a #1 or strong #2 WR.

By the way, received this trade proposal in another league:

I get:
Ronnie Brown
Reggie Wayne

I give:
Chad Johnson

My roster:
QB - Kitna
WR - Chad Johnson
WR - Javon Walker
WR - Donald Driver
RB - Frank Gore
RB - Maurice Jones-Drew
TE - Chris Cooley
B - Jay Cutler
B - Warrick Dunn
B - DeShaun Foster
B - Shaun McDonald
B - Dwayne Bowe
B - Jeff King (bye week plug in for Cooley)
K - Neil Rackers
DEF - Minnesota

------------

It looks like a decent trade, but I question Ronnie Brown's consistency throughout the season. He had one strong game, but I'm sure he won't be a regular strong fantasy performer due to a shoddy O-line.

I'm considering making this counter offer:

I get:
Reggie Wayne
Lamont Jordan

I give:
Chad Johnson
DeShaun Foster

Agree/Disagree?

I'm trying to steal away Tomlinson before he breaks out. His owner's team is terrible and he's willing to talk shop. Its a 12 team, PPR league; start 2 RB, 2 WR and flex. Here are the rosters:

Me:
QB: McNabb, Kitna
RB: Henry, Bush, MIN Peterson, Leonard, Tatum, B. Jackson, Stecker
WR: Boldin, Roy Williams, Santonio, Roddy White
TE: Miller

Him:
QB: Leinart, Anderson, Quinn
RB: LDT, Benson, Dayne, Droughns
WR: Fitz, Coles, B. Jones, Stallworth
TE: Gonzo

He obv needs RB and QB help so I was going to offer Kitna, Peterson, and Bell and then proceed to pick up Garrard and Michael Turner off waivers.

Good? Or is there a different angle I should pursue?

I like the offer. I would say just to start with Peterson and Kitna, but Bell is pretty worthless anyway so might as well include a third to make it look better. If it goes through add Kevin Jones if he's available and you've upgraded over Bell anyway

Any ideas what I should be thinking of doing with Leinart? Was planning to platoon with Cutler but don't know what to do now, whether to hold and wait to see what develops, or grab Smith or Campbell off waivers.

Reposting without the joke Mare comment which isn't a factor now anyway

Leinart is better than Smith or Cambell, so unless there are better options in free agency, stick with him
