[/ QUOTE ] it was a pretty well-publicized fact, but still. mlb actually robbed him of a chance at it, by cancelling a meaningless game 162. what's more impressive is that the fans cheered when he got a walk for the first time in like 100 PAs. he was a notorious free swinger, even when the yankees tried to control him. those kinds of stats don't show up much at all.
