as far as Dobie goes, played with him last week. He had the button on my BB (that was fun, lol) I had to 3bet him 3 consecutive times to settle him down on my BB.

As a note. I did see him pot committed himself for 180bb pot with AKo lp. He 4bet a limp reraise and had to call PF.

I am still of the opinion that 95% of us just trade money, day in and day out, with our profits coming from the weekend warriors and drunk people.

[/ QUOTE ]I took a shot at NL 100 on the weekend, coming from NL 50. The tables seemed to be full of a lot more regulars than at NL50. So I wonder if what you say might indeed be true!

I'm only at 144k points, but with medals and points, I figure I'll get to the plasma in 5-6 months at my current pace.

As far as dobieatwar goes, a player who is constantly brought up in his thread, I openly ask him to minraise more when he sits at my tables. It's a running joke between us at this point. I agree with the point somebody made though that he makes his money by being a solid postflop player. Normally minraises are indicative of complete donks who don't understand bet sizing. Donks will minraise with AA and don't understand why they have such bad luck when they end up in a 5 way pot and somebody beats them. With dobieatwar though, a minraise from him is pretty much the same thing as a limp from anybody else. When he really does have a hand he seems to raise more. He's not going to minraise AA and then get taken to the felt.

Wow, I guess I'll be playing the donkaments from now on. Lol, I only have 200,000 more points until I cannot afford that stupid plasma.

looks like a few people are saving up for the 50"er
does anyone know if it's 1080i or 720 ??

the store has the 42" as a 720p...
i might save up for it if it's a 1080, but i just dont see ft having the "more expensive" 50" model in the store

and yea, vhunter, your name seems very familiar, so I'm sure i've played with you before

I would agree with that statement. and i've never seen him minraise premium hands... now saying that, and since he lurks, he's porbalby going to min raise AA vs me, and stack me. lolol

I was assuming the 50in was 1080i just because the smaller one is listed at 720p. It darn well better be 1080i for the amount of points it costs...
