If he's the same guy I'm thinking of, I used to play a lot of stud against him back in the "old days." (stud = 7 card stud, there are card games other than holdem, ya know.) I think we both moved over to NL at around the same time because I kept bumping into him first at NL50, then NL100, then NL200.

He was pretty aggro when I played him. Raises a lot more hands than the regular nits and steals a lot. Maybe his style doesn't work at NL400 and above, I don't know. I doubt he's a fish, though. I have him as a winner over a lot of hands at NL200 and below.

He used to play with a half stack at 50NL and played loose but not spewtard loose. He is definately a winning player. But will gamble and chase too. Unlike the weak tighties at that marginally beat the game.

I play 100NL at stars and since the promotions have started i cant seem to win anything. I keep loosing and the tables im at are so taggy its driving me crazy.

I've played with this guy at 3/6. First time I saw him, I sat down and he won the first 6 or so hands I saw at the table, without showdown. So I figured he was some maniac dude and I decided I would get in a pot with him and either resteal from him or stack him if I hit anything.
