the paper linked describes a certain type of efficiency. i'm still working on it myself.

Ok I'll have a look at it. One thing I'd like to interject here. The fact that the employees of a company do not own the majority of the stock does not invalidate your point IMO. Employees can and are motivated to be more "effecient" IMO by stock ownership in the companies they work for even if the sum total of stock ownership is a fraction of the outstanding shares.

the conclusion actually is there is no evidence of a statistically significant difference of total labor efficiency between labor-managed and capital-managed firms, looking at output to labor, output to capital, and capital to labor ratios. More study needs to be done, but I can confirm the stats work involved is legit.

why don't you read the pdf instead of continuing your ignorance? It gives a better definition of technical efficiency that I can.
