I have been playing a ton of poker , live in Vegas, and only meet men in poker games. Like I have shared before, I feel a little out of my league at times. I need to do some more reading on bank roll management etc. as I still don't get it. I proped for a bit, 6 months and did ok. False sense of things I am sure but I made rent etc. I have had luck in a few tournies, small ones, and got a bit of attention. Like I have shared before, I live with a full time player here in Vegas. He still prefers the net, he misses party big time. I am lucky? but it is a strictly business deal, no sex involved or even hinted at. To me this post hit me on several levels.

IMO, I think we (women) only have to worry about being considered a sex object if we behave like one. We (women) only have to worry about men poker players thinking they might get sex in exchange for buy ins/backing offers and deals if we have a sexy body, are young, and show off our breasts.

I've been backed in the past and have never come close to having a male player insinuate that he's going to get sex out of the deal. It's not that I'm dog ugly, it's just that I'm older and not a size 4, and don't hang my breasts on the table so now when I'm backed, I know it's because that player really believes in my poker abilities.

(Good lord, I hope I'm not setting myself up here for a ton of insults...LOL)
