I honestly don't know if it was or not it just always tilts me when guys like Hafner get free passes with runners in scoring position. That just seems SOOOO -EV. You may very well be right though.

The bunting worked out this time, but still a bad decision IMO. Can't be playing for 1 or even 2 run innings against the Yankees lineup in this spot with Byrd on the mound. I wouldn't feel comfortable until I was up 10. I don't see a huge difference between a 3 run lead and a 4 run lead here.
