so i got back from vegas yesterday. had to play the big old 2/4 limit holdem at treasure island to get hours in for the poker room rate.

one hand:

my friend limps utg (great play with about 15% of your hands at this table because it went 6-way to the flop a majority of the time.

fish limps.

i raise next in with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. miraculously i only get one coldcall and and i am 4-way with my roommate and two fish.

friend checks, fish1 checks, i check, fish2 checks

friend bets, fish1 folds, i raise and win lol

another hand from the night before at a no limit game

i complete Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in sb after like 5 limpers (this is 1/3 nl and i have about $350). well bb raises to $15 and the table calls and i call. pot is already like a billion.

bb checks and it checks to tight semidecent player to my right who bets $30 and i lolcheckraise to $100.

bb folds, utg coldcalls and bettor folds. pot is over $300 here. huhu to turn.

turn is 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] giving me a gutshot to go along with my fd.

i check the turn and utg bets $50 into a $300+ pot.

river A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] i say "arr in," he calls with AJo.

and blackjack news -

i really hate dealers who tell you crap like "only bet big after you win. bet minimum after you lose." or "the book says to hit, but i never hit 16 against a 7."

please RAFI FROM AFGHANISTAN, NO SIR. STFU. although i did like the guy overall because he would let us know when there were some girls walking behind us.
