Re: Pregnant GF
Being a young dad is cool. Seriously. Sure you live a different life to what you plan, but sometimes it's the unexpected things that make life amazing.
It seems like you're smart and you care about this girl. That's a huge head start already. Best of luck to you both. |

Re: Pregnant GF
If you want a daughter named Sophie, you might consider naming her Sophia instead of just Sophie, solely for the purposes of official forms and whatnot. My mom's name is Jan, not Janet or Janice or something, and she went through her whole life saying she was "Just Jan," and how she actually got hassled by teachers or whoever quite a bit when filling out official forms for filling out the full name section with what they thought was just her nickname. My uncle wanted a son named Mike, and he was going to make his son's full legal first name just Mike, but he eventually wised up and made his son's full name Michael to avoid the same thing. He called his son Mike from day one, though.

Re: Pregnant GF
If you want to move to Vancouver, keep in mind its not easy to get a residency permit. There are websites for Canadian immigration and if you don't have skillz or connections you probably can't get permanent residence.
