not to sidetrack this thread of epic importance, but i've been wondering for years if Barron Vangor Toth was that guy's real name or like the name of his character in a role playing game or something that he adopted as his internet persona, does anybody know?

Here's the thing - when you consider the conversion of millions of FPP points and the fact that Fgators is up to the tune of 20k or thereabouts lifetime on MTTs:

HE IS ACTUALLY UP OVERALL FROM ONLINE POKER TO A SMALL DEGREE

And, the fact that he has been winning at a veeeerrry gradual rate over the last 200k hands says something about his tenacity and stubborness. I know that I (and most poker players I guess) would have tilted somehwhere in those 1.6m hands and openshoved the entire account balance away. The fact that you can grind away like you do is admirable in many respects - and it deserves some credit. Particularly if your contention that you never redeposited is true.

However, you simply should not deny (eventhough you are )that this sample size is too significant for it to be discounted as "unlucky" or "running bad". In the final analysis, these stats indicate that you are essentially breakeven at 0.50 / 1 - 1 / 2; probably a decent winner at 0.25 / 0.50 and below; and massively negative EV at 2 / 4 and above. Not the end of the world by the way. You are probably a far better poker player than the vast majority of the regulars who solely inhabit BBV and other non strat forums. And if you actually listened and applied the advice you have received and the coaching you would no doubt get - you could become a solid winner at 1 / 2.

But my oh my. What a graph!!
