[/ QUOTE ] We had a team in like 8th grade football that would have their linebackers run full speed up to the LOS and then slam on the breaks, and since our O-line guys were a bunch of 8th graders, they'd flinch and react pretty much every time, and it would be called a false start. After about the third time in a row that the other team did this, the refs just started calling offsides every single time no matter how ridiculous it was and no matter how far from the LOS they stopped. This kind of seemed like that.

It's 4th and inches, Miles has all of the OL shift in toward the center in a bid to get the DL offside. It works, but it's also a 15 yard penalty.

[/ QUOTE ] The oline went up to the LOS, but didnt get set or put their hands down, and then all at the same time they like shifted 3 feet to the left, which looked like a snap and of course all the Bama guys jumped across. They called it "simulating the snap" because I guess it was although usually thats like a Center or QB thing I think.
