btw, ScottHoward, I was at the Borg last night playing 10/20. Were you there last night? I was at Table 19, yellow button up shirt, looking rather tired and/or hung over starting around midnight.

Update:

So today is my last full day here in NJ. Over the past week we've been doin random stuff like goin to some malls, playing more pool (I don't suck quite so much anymore), seeing more [censored] movies, losing monies at online poker, etc. We did see something funny while driving around:

A few days ago we went to AC.

I'd never been to a casino before, so I was pretty excited. We started out going to the Taj to play with Johnny Chan, but Matt Damon lied and he wasn't there.

First thing we did was valet the car (VIP cause OH is balla), and go to Mark Anthony's for Sunday brunch. It was delicious, they had everything. I even tried caviar for the first time (it tastes like fish).

Heres a few shots of the restaurant and the buffet tables.

And heres our cool chef making us our omelettes.

After brunch we went down to the casino floor and hit up a roulette table. Like I said, I'd never been to a casino before, so this was my first time playing any table games. So obviously I bought some chips and after about 30 min I left with $250 more than I sat with. OH also won about $100 after losing a bit at first.

Next we stopped by a craps table. I had no idea what was goin on so I just watched while OH threw the dice. I did make one hardway bet before we left, which somehow lost. OH lost his $100 back (fish). Then we head over to the poker room and played some 1/2NL for about 1.5 hours. We both won a bit and then left for the Trop.

Nothing special happened there. We played some more 1/2, OH got a massage at the table, then we ate at Hooters. Mmmmm, bar food.

At around 8 we went to the Borgata to look for ScottHoward in the poker room.

This is a pic of OH and I outside the Borg beside his car, but the damn valet guy who took the picture was about 100 years old and couldn't hold the camera straight .

We went in and decided to play some blackjack (again looking for ScottHoward ). I got carded for the first time all day. No problem though, my fake is pro. We both started off losing with this other dude who was at our table, but he was bad [censored] luck cause as soon as he got up we couldn't lose a hand. We played until the end of the shoe. I won $100 and OH won $450.

Next stop was the poker room. We had to wait a bit to get two seats at the same table, but we finally got to sit right next to eachother. I got carded one more time when I started ordering beer. Poker was fairly uneventful. OH couldn't get a hand. I did stack one dude with a flush over flush hand. Best part was this guy who got pissed at me after I turned a flush , 3-bet him all-in, and won. A little while later (after he re-bought hahahahahaha) he min-raised me on the flop and I pushed with top pair and an open-ender. His over-pair held up (rigged), and he got pissed at me again lol. He gave me weird [censored] look, so I said "whats that look for?" and he went off berating me for my push. I got into it a little bit with him but OH just told me to stop. I was a little bit drunk . It was all pretty funny though. Live poker is fun.

We left the poker room around 12:30am and played roulette one more time before we left (I got carded again). I lost the $50 I bought it for, and OH lost $100. I ended up leaving AC with $100 more than I came with, and OH won a total of $350.

We left AC around 1am, getting back to OH's at 2:30.

More trip report to come...

The other big trip we had was to NYC for the evening. We stopped by Staten Island first to eat what OH insists are the worlds greatest gyros.

They were ok.

We got to NY and just drove around at first. I snapped this photo of Radio City Music Hall from the car. It's like artistic, almost.

We parked the car somewhere and just started walking around Times Square...

...and Rockefeller Center. It was pretty [censored] busy for a Monday night.

Then we drove uptown to check out a few places and headed back to NJ (sigh, NYC >>>>> NJ).

And heres some random pics from the past couple days. I bought what OH likes to call a "potato sack" shirt.

He thinks I looked like a ghost here putting it on.

And here I am in bed with GT1T.

.

Thus ends the tale of my journey to NJ to see some creepy internet stalker. Tonight we are going out to dinner with some friends, and tomorrow I have an afternoon flight to Montreal. I will then take the train home. Voila.
