Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)
Why hasn't AP locked this account yet? This is pathetic.

[ QUOTE ]
The cliff notes are: Overwhelming, undisputed evidence of cheating via "superuser" account or something similar. Then some newb idiot comes in and, without reading all of the posts in the various threads, posts how it's not conclusive and we're a mob. Newb idiot gets shouted down. Doubledrag then goes and plays like a major league retard, dumping thousands, in an obvious attempt to cover his play. More posts about how this is conclusive evidence of cheating. New noob retard comes in and, without reading the posts, says that we're all jumping to conclusions. Rinse and re-wash. [/ QUOTE ] QFT |

Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)
The whole "superuser" theory seems like BS to me.
It is much more likely that a login exists that allows users to see all the hole cards. This login cannot play. So these players likely have a second computer they use to log-on and see the cards. Then they play from an account on a second seperate computer. |

Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)
thats the way i would handle it anyway when i had a "superuser" account, get 2 different lines, connect the super user through a vpn from a location a few thousand miles away and log in local with your normal account, jesus that would be fun, watching all cards and nobody could get you for it.

If there is any way anyone can see both player's hole cards in real time, the rest is just details. |

Re: Absolute Cliffsnotes (Mod edit: AP thread, part 2)
[ QUOTE ]
All, I just wanted to bring this gem of a thread to the attention of people who, like myself, don't read the Stud forum and hadn't seen it. It's Absolute-related and very BBV-worthy. [/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the thread bump, but it really has about as much impact on this thread as throwing a bucket of water in lake mead. The thread in the stud forum is about an apparent software bug in the showdown evaluation of razz hands, and affected the outcome of a $2 pot. There really was no evidence of foul play on AP's part, just incompetence. If you want to take that as evidence of incompetence in this matter, then jump to your own conclusions. |
