Is there any update on the Party cash-out conversion rates, and the best ways to cash out? Is opening a bank account in dollars worthwhile (assuming this is possible)?

[/ QUOTE ]

I opened a bank account in USD, and I have a tiny danish bank, so I doubt you will face any trouble.
I plan on keeping the funds in USD for a while as the exchange rate is crap right now. I hope it will get better.

Do you get a decent rate when you cash out of the US$ bank account?

My attitude in hoping for a better exchange rate was the same as yours, but then I read something about Partygaming actually disclosing losses for the first time due to the US pull out. It made me think twice about holding so much there, but they are still huge no doubt so that's probably not such a big concern.

Edit: Partygaming interim results - http://www.partygaming.com/images/do...im_Results.pdf

I'm no accountant, but looking at the losses over the last period and the net assets now they don't actually look that strong. At least, not as much as I would have thought anyway.

It's better. I get around $1800-1900 extra on a 100k cashout if I let my bank take care of the exchange from USD --> DKK. I think this rate varies between different countries, though.

EDIT: But I don't plan to transfer from USD --> DKK in the near future.
The best part is that I don't have to keep as much online. I trust my bank a lot more than Party

Thanks - I'll pop into my bank tomorrow and set up a US account. I could call but all the staff there wear nice short skirts.

pethie,

Don't currency speculate. No reason to get burned. Just keep cashing out on a regular basis and let the currency land where it may.
