11 now, 2 less in two days = 9 (- the two up for vote who can't vote and HoH who can't vote = 6)
So basically if I'd do what I suggested I can at best hope for a coinflip with your ruling, right?

i assume the 3 votes would be additional so you would need 5-1 vote to win i assume

I haven't really thought about it. Why would I? The purpose of the rule is to give people an incentive to participate & vote in situations that otherwise make no difference to them. I try to be lenient with deadlines when something is going on in somebody's life - if you let me know you're not available, I'll try to make deadlines such that you can participate. But not voting when you've got nearly a full day is not acceptable.

There's also one person in this game who I will vote to death now so at least it gets exiting.
Hint: If you are the person that caused me to delay my vote because you wanted to discuss something important then never showed up it's you.
