How much do you think Manager cost himself by not dealing? [/ QUOTE ] Not too much actually. At the time, he had not quite half the chips in play, there were 4 players left. 4th was 56k so there was only $200k extra for 1st-3rd. They'd have had to leave $50k on the table, so that leaves $150k, of which manager would have gotten roughly half, $75k. Plus what he had won for 4th, would have got like $130k. So about $30k, little less because he had less than half the chips I think. |

manager played it like a $5 HU tourny. When the deficit is big and desperation sets in, plays like these are very common on that level. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed, although to be fair, he did have the extra excuse that he WAS playing for 100k, so it has to be emotionally crazy, and easy to go nuts and just panic and want to win fast. Also he is incredibly horrible at poker and has no clue what he is doing, it's like 50-50 of those 2 things. |

and 42 percent of $169762 ( the prize pool remaining with 4 left after 4th place money is disperced to everyone and $30k left to play for at the end) is $127,574. Thus meaning he cost himself about $28,000

i just did the numbers, he would have got $127,574 based on chip count at that point so
127574 - 99882 = $27692 he cost himself |

Yeah but he got all in as a 36% fave on the final hand, which is like winning an extra 36,000 really, so we're all being too hard on him, he really won 135,000, $8000 more than if he made a deal.
