*LOUNGE CONTEST - Hottest Male Characters*

What I have learned about this thread so far:

-You guys overrate the HELL OUT OF HARRISON FORD. He isn't even on the same beauty planet as guys like Warren Beatty, Paul Newman, Clooney or younger lookers like Gosling, Bale, J. Holloway, or even guys like Ryan Reynolds (could name tons more but the longer the laundry list the gayer I become). Yea, he was in some movies that we like but that dude isn't in the same class as most posted in this thread.

-The Superman guy is hawt.

-A better Brad Pitt pic to submit would have been something from Troy--still cut but a little bigger, not as scrawny/more brawny and w/ the long golden locks and no goofy hat. No way to find a reason to give 6's and 7's to the best looking man on the planet.

I was taken aback, and still am to a minor extent, but some of the ladies' feedback, but remember, the contest is to judge *characters*, not the looks of the actors themselves. So the handsomest guy on earth, if playing a jerk, is going to lose points because they don't like the character he played, even if they think it was a great role and he did it really well and he's the handsomest guy ever.

This helps explain Harrison Ford, too. His characters tend to be likeable.

wow, VR TRASHED my Warren Beatty pick based on Character...I forgot there are two chicks judging this thing and they take silly things into account when judging hotness like "does he cheat on me?" Bleh. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Blarg- Character is likable but then again there are plenty of likable characters played by ok...not super hot guys. There are also plenty of likable characters played by super hot guys.

keepit- You bring up a good point and further solidify my point that he is the hottest dude on the planet.

Yeah but the character was as related to one specific role by one specific guy, not a general principles kinda thing.
