lol, no.... Ladies would bake cakes and enter them in contests at fairs or socials. Then, people would pay for a ticket to enter the walk. All of the cakes were placed in a circle and a game similar to musical chairs was played.

If you stopped at the cake with your number, you got to keep it. Some variations, but all were like fund-raisers for churches, etc. usually.

I'm getting married tomorrow, and can't sleep tonight(living in Europe - it's 2 in the morning here...). Any suggestions of things that may help? I've been drinking wine and beer, I don't have any drugs, anything else that may help me get some sleep before I'm going to the church? Any help appreciated
