What happened to Darren Oliver? We could use him for a few starts right now.

Well, for all the people who want Wright batting 2nd permanently, you now can see why this can't work, if Wright did what he did in the 5 hole today the Mets score a ton more. Though I do agree with him being there today maybe for a week but this cant be a permanent solution.

Wright's best skill is getting on base. This skill is best utilized batting as early in the order as possible.

He's on the Angels, he is another guy who I thought was treated insanely unfair by the Mets. The BS excuse that you need him in the long man role so he cant start was absurd. Translated, the long man role is mop up role, anyone with an arm can do it as long as he can go innings. Hell I'd be allright with Park in that role. Don't expect Aaron Sele to get a start anytime soon if Randolph manages the same way. I'm not saying Sele desrves one now/yet but if he eventually earns it, I guarantee he won't get it. I can't believe theire considering replacing Pelfrey with Sosa, but Park was gonna get another start. Hopefully Pelfrey pitched well enough to survive and the Mets will do the right thing and have Sosa replace Park. If neither are replace or Sosa replaced Pelfrey that's just dumb. Park is awful.

uggla just made one of the worst errors i've ever seen.

the mets have to start driving in some runs. they could be up like 8-1 right now easy.
at least wright continues to look better.

From Yahoo:

[ QUOTE ]
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports Florida Marlins management is not happy with a prolonged 10-minute on-field conversation between Marlins 3B Miguel Cabrera and New York Mets general manager Omar Minaya. Major-league rules prohibit conversations like this, as they are considered tampering if a player is approaching free agency.

[/ QUOTE ]

??? Anyone know anything more on this or what the penalty could be?

I don't see why they are so upset. The Marlins have been the Mets farm team for how long now?
