Why not put the preliminary rounds to a vote now? We have 2 or 3 verses (or more) from everybody. Let it be voted in a thread (not a poll, vote by reply, only posters w/ >40 posts or so can vote). The runners up can battle each other for a shot at the champ.

Someone would just have to collect all the relevant verses so far, make one thread and run it.

i just posted a quick verse that should garner some support unless poeple dont know history/simpsons and/or became illiterate.

i wish i didn't post that lymric style b/c it's not how i flow and it was weak in delivery despite having some good concepts...diablo went ahead and pointed that out, thanks d*ck [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

so in sum, we:

a) should start a new thread w/ all relavent verses from us both.

b) have a verse limit (and bar limit probably so it's even and consistent) from the start of the thread until the poll is posted.

c) set a battle schedule like GA mentioned.

d) have polls posted all in one post in line w/ the battle schedule and verses from that battle.

e) ban dipshyt ("Big L" lol @ that name btw) again b/c it is just embarrassing and hurts my eyes, mind, and soul to read what he writes (bites)

these are obviously spur of the moment thoughts so feel free to add on.

the reason for forcing people to post their vote is to prevent gimmick / multiple account voting. this is the fairest way to settle it. i'm sure someone will count the votes.

i don't really care too much about any other specifics, as few or as many bars as you want, whatev. you know how i roll.

thats fair. i didn't think about mulit-acct or vote fixing as i dont see this being that life changing to warrant the trouble to execute such shennanigans.

alrighty, well looks like we're gunna have a nice battle. we can do a me vs. you thread where one of us starts off, lets say 8 bars (16 typed lines) w/ a total of 4 verses so 2 each. that should be enough. then just have people vote.

the only problem i see is that people will post between our verses making the reading/following annoying and the voting more difficult to count. it'd be great if it could be
