Default Re: Version 2.01 beta

The new TableNavigator is absolutely fantastic - especially the amazing work on the new configuration GUI and studio. Thanks to all the contributors for their efforts, it's appreciated.

The only problem I've encountered with the new version is that sometimes (usually on startup, but occasionally on exiting a table) TN recognizes the Party Poker lobby as a 'table' and gives it a blue bar, letting me scroll through the table list with my left analogue pad (so this may be a designed feature). I never want to do this as I want to use my mouse for lobby control, plus it causes other issues...

When the lobby is the active TableNavigator 'table', it disables my ability to navigate to the other open tables (because the left analogue stick is now scrolling the table list in the lobby and not directing table selection). When this happens I have to restart TN.

More worryingly, sometimes when the Party lobby is the active 'table' it seems to disable the lobby's graphics refresh. The lobby becomes an empty white window, forcing me to restart Party Poker to get the lobby back.

Is there anyway for me to disable lobby control and stop TN activating the lobby?

I don't think anyone else has reported this bug yet, so it may be something particular with my setup. Some possible causes: I use PartyPlanner, which hooks and controls the Party lobby - is it possible this is causing some conflict with TN? Also, I use PokerStarter to launch all my Poker apps, to do this I have to put the TN .ini in the PokerStarter directory...

Thanks again for this great software.

James

First off, please read the documentation on the TableNavigator wiki page. The concept of "modes" is described in detail there.

I agree that it's annoying that TN switches to Lobby Mode when you close a table and this will be changed. You really don't have to restart TN though - just switch back to Play Mode with the "Mode" command.

All TN does is activate the lobby and set focus to the listview. The lobby is terribly buggy though, so it doesn't come as a big surprise that this causes problems.

I'll add an option to disable Lobby (and Dialogue?) mode.

Why's that?

My apologies - I was so keen to get playing with the new 'toy' that I didn't RTFM

Now I know about it, switching back with the 'mode' command will be no problem until this is fixed.

That would be great!

I figured it might be something to do with the current 'working directory' - i.e. when my Poker applications are launched using PokerStarter they check for their .ini in the current directory (which is the PokerStarter directory) and when they don't find it they create one there. To get around this I copied all of my .ini's from their various directories into the PokerStarter directory. It's possible this isn't the optimum configuration for PokerStarter, so I'd be glad to hear of alternatives.

Thanks again for your help!

Default Version 2.07 beta

AttentionQueue for all supported casinos

"Speed-up" option for NL slider

New command "Show Tray Menu"

Fixed annoying modes-problem (switching into lobby mode when a table was closed). Added option to turn modes off altogether.

Jernau, you should maybe ask Adde about the PokerStarted problem because I don't know (but think that having to move the ini sucks).

Pacific hasn't got very good support at the moment. I'll look into it.

Edit: I suppose they don't display any info about the game type and level in the titlebar on real money tables either?

Edit2: Hmm, now I'm getting "NL 600". Weird.

Could you give me an example of the title of a NL tourney table? Pacific insists on displaying everything in German for me (sucks).
