- find a bottle shop that actually sells american beer that is NOT bud or miller

-AussieBattler in another post.

WHY would you volunteerly drink American beer living in Australia?

I question why American's drink it. Whenever I go to the States I stick to liquor or Coronas or Rolling Rocks for a laugh (impossible to get drunk on..good to look drunk at poker tables but side affect is going to the john every 20 minutes)

I just figure that since ive been raving on here about everything Aussie, including how fantastically fabulous Coopers Pale Ale is and some ppl such as Wookie have gone to the effort to drink Aussie brews, I figure I should do likewise. Wookie gave a list but Ive given up on that....there is a big liquor store about 20mins from my house that is my best bet but I dont like my chances of getting anything other than the big brands.

Yes, Ive been to the states so Im not a total novice on American beers. SamAdams was the best of a limited bunch that I tried as it was the closest to my beloved pale Ale.

Smurph,

If you're not drinking American microbrews when you might have good access to them in Canada, you're living a depraved life.

Quick question: where on the boards do I ask about taxes? I'd like to know how the $3000-ish I'm actually taking out will affect me in regards to the IRS.

Worst. System Of A Down. Parody. Ever.

Anyway, that's a link thread, and it even admits that there's no real home for tax questions. Meh. I'll try Finance & Investing.

Marchron,

Before the legislation forum exploded with recent events, its primary traffic was tax questions interspersed with the occasional speculation about what might happen with ban legislation. I'd do a search in that forum.

Purposely playing at the table with the lowest VPIP I could find. I enjoy stealing from weak-tight nits. It suits my LAG nature. This one I'm pretty proud of:

PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: I'M THE BEST is Button with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
6 folds, I'M THE BEST raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, I'M THE BEST bets, BB folds.

Final Pot: 2.70 BB

There are 6 microbrewers, 1 crafter brewer and budweiser plant in my home town. New Belgium brewery(the craft brewer) has Fat Tire and Odell's has Easy Street Wheat. Easy Street won gold medal for american pale ale's last year. Micro brews have come of age
