Here's a couple random ideas:

* For six months, only self propelled transportation is allowed (e.g. walking, running, or riding a bike). No public transportation and no hitching a ride with a friend or stranger. No motorcycles, mopeds, or Segways allowed.

* Everyone was talking about losing weight. Try gaining 50 lbs in six months.

* Dress like a full out transvestite for thirty days. Must maintain normal lifestyle.

* Absolutely no personal body hygiene for thirty days. This includes showering, shaving, brushing teeth, wearing deodorant, body spray, or cologne, household cleansers, car freshners. Must wear the same set of clothes for the same period - which can't be washed. Wiping your ass is allowed. Must maintain normal lifestyle - no vacations allowed.

Obviously, the length of this bet varies from person to person. For someone who works in a formal office setting, thirty days is a long time. However, for some poker players, this may be norm.

* Become a Freegan for thirty days. Absolutely no help from friends. Which includes dumpster diving in their trash. Never know what was "accidentally" thrown away.

* Combine the personal hygiene and freeganism into one bet: Become homeless for thirty days.

I had an idea of maintaining a specific BAC for a length of time, but I'm not sure on the feasibility/safety or even stupidity of it.

The timeframes are just thrown out as ideas. For the record, I'm not interested in betting.

I will accept any reasonable bet on drinking 5 liters of whiskey in 7 days. PM me if interested. Its something Ive always wanted to try. You will not be liable for death, proof provided by video footage

What kind of odds can I get on a half court shot?
How bout a half court shot facing away from the basket?

I'll need some warmup, but all shots during warmup can remain inside the top of the key.

Give me odds and how much you are willing to bet.

I like the "no speaking for 2 years" prob bet. It's not realistic that anyone could put up the money required.

Someone might be willing to put up a small amount of money if someone agrees to go a week or a month without speaking. It would obviously have to be an online pro (no job where speaking is required).

I'd bet I could out-shoot anyone who has previously posted in this thread best of 50 or 100:

from the college 3-point line
at the bottom of the circle in the key (ie 5-6 feet in front of the foul line)

(offer void if you currently play d1-d3 college ball, or played d1-d2 and are <25)

I wouldn't bet more than a few hundred, because I'm not a lock or anything.

500 max maybe
