Re: aba caught bluffing against bobby baldwin in 1.8mil pot
[ QUOTE ]
i dont see any reason not to push except some sort of pseudo gentlemen's rule. there is always a chance that aba calls with a worse hand and nothing is ever lost by pushing. [/ QUOTE ] I would agree, but having the best player in the game get up and leave is a good thing. |

[/ QUOTE ] Brians either got the nuts or nothing, so why not let him bluff off his money? Raising before the river only gets worse hands to fold, and why pump up the pot for a split? Brian either had the same hand as Bobby or air, and Mr. Baldwin knew this. Truly a sophisticated play just calling with the nuts there. Very very very well played by BB imo. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Barry, if you read this, I'd like very much if you would offer your opinion on how good of a PLO player Sammy is. I've always heard from the people who have played with him that he is one of the best in the world. My opinion was that he would be a favorite HU against all but perhaps one or two other players. [/ QUOTE ] He's already on the record on Sammy. [/ QUOTE ] hey dali, just curious, did you get my pm a while back? i never heard back and wasnt sure if i hit submit+preview and then didn't hit submit again. [/ QUOTE ] Ya, I got it, but was in LV and on my iphone at the time, forgot to get back to ya, sorry. |

What I don't get is why Brian is always ripping on LV? He said in his blog that 9 out 10 people in the Casino or total scumbags. This may or may not be true but how in the heck would Brian know?

[/ QUOTE ] It is true, most people in the Casino, especially a non Vegas casino are degenerate gamblers. Have you ever seen their faces and how miserable everyone looks. I am sure it is just more diluted in Vegas, because it is a huge Casino and is a tourist attraction. |
