Question: Timlin's WHIP is like 1.68. His ERA is 1.74. How much longer can Timlin continue to be lucky and get out of jams?

[/ QUOTE ]

Anyone who wants to address Timlin's luckiness factor, feel free. His ERA should be over 5 right now.

Alex Gonzalez, Mark Loretta and Youkilis all look absolutely terrible right now. Willy Mo is working out, but when CoCo comes back we are going to be wasting some resources.

I really think this umpire's giant strike zone hurt us tonight. We have a bunch of guys who take a lot of pitches, Toronto has a lot of free swingers. We ended up getting a ton of called strikes on us on questionable pitches.

No, I'm just glad it did. Now I don't have to hear about the invincible Papelbon anymore, and I'm not convinced that he is real. he is a new pitcher and once the pros around the AL East see his stuff then they will adapt and he might start getting hit hard.

true, but i don't think even red sox fans thought he was going 90 ip, 0.00 ERA, .5 WHIP, 150 k's, 60 S or whatever his stats are
