Re: Forming a Low Limit STT Study Group
In for the PP stts.
This seems like a good breakdown for the potential groups based on interest: x Groups of PP 11s-33s players x Groups os PP 11r-33r players x Groups of low level stars players |

Re: Forming a Low Limit STT Study Group
I was part of one of these before, but it never really took off(mainly because the new party upgrade happened shortly after). When you know your HH's are going to be reviewed, it really makes you focus and really play your A game. Definitly interested, I play 11 and 22 speeds(mainly 11's right now).

Re: Forming a Low Limit STT Study Group
Alright,
I've spoken to a couple players, and this is the general feel: 1. We need a dedicated group. People that play a decent amount of games (like, at least 200/mo). This will ensure that the group is dedicated and really wants to learn. 2. We need a group where every member is productive. In otherwords, if you are in the group, you need to contribute in order to recieve. The last thing we want is a memeber who gets access to HHs that never reviews or helps anyone else. 3. We want this group to be long term. As I understand the last group lasted a week. Not cool. If you are joining this group you must be willing to devote a good amount of time to it. Seriously, if we get just 3-4 of us that are dedicated, we will learn TONS! 4. I am still open for ideas on this: The group will review 1 HH per week per member. So if you are in a group of 5 players, you will need to go through 5 HHs per week and leave comments on most of the hands (of course we dont need to leave comments where the play is completly obvious). 5. If this works out how I see it working out, the members in the group will all become pretty good friends, and you will all grow as players. So yeah, I am looking for 4-5 individuals that play $11 - $33 STTs on party for my group. Speeds are preferable, but Regular players are welcome too so long as they are of value to the group. Please only apply if you agree with/meet the above criteria. However, I am willing to setup a pokerstars group too. If someone wants to take the lead on that, by all means, go ahead. How's this sounding? If you're interested AIM me: phpbug or PM me. -Tick EDIT: Meant to say 200 not 300 games/mo min. More the better though. I play 850/mo. Also, remember, what I am looking for is quality members. Not exactly quality in terms of skill level, but in terms of their dedication and willingness to learn. If we do this right, it will be awesome. |

Re: Forming a Low Limit STT Study Group
I'd be interested in joining if there is any room. I just start playing STTs about 2/3 weeks ago and I'm pretty bad but very willing to learn. I currently play the $6.50 turbos on Stars.
