Tampa Bay Willie Reid, WR Fresno St

This player does not exist, or he does but he didn't go to Fresno State.

[/ QUOTE ]

It appears it a typo of sorts as he actaully went to Florida St.

I don't even know why I made the post in the first place, I'm sure nobody cares.

he said leinart had "late first, early second potential". wow, just wow.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's awesome.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe he was referring to where he thought he should be drafted not the actual spot he will be drafted in.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hodge said this and he meant that all QBs this year had at best 2nd round talent.

[/ QUOTE ]

so last year did all the qbs have 5th round talent?

[/ QUOTE ]

Smith = 3rd rd ralent
Rodgers = 2nd - 3rd rd. talent

I personally agree with this, I feel they will all have sub-par careers for as high as they will go. I know this won't be a popular opinion and before you post "OMG, WFT, YOUR ARE SO STUPID!!!" keep in mind many can't miss prospects have not panned out and that your opinion is just of as much of a guess as mine is.

[/ QUOTE ]

FWIW, Kiper said he strongly disagreed with Hodge and that he thought the QBs had earned their slotted draft positions.

Yeah from what I have heard from Kiper he is real high on Leinart. Everytime I hear him doing an interview he is always saying he is the next 'Kenny Stabler'.

Anything Hodge says is about as far from fact as you can get.

I haven't been following the draft news much. Is Manny Lawson really going to fall this far? Did he have a horrible combine or something?

Mel is really entertaining, but I would be interested to see how accruate his mock draft from last year was.

He is a good information broker, but I don't know that he actually knows what the particular teams's needs are and what the values of each GM are.

For instance, as someone who follows the Packers, I would be shocked if they picked A.J. Hawk with the 5th pick. Hawk is a fine player, but in Green Bay he would not play in the dime package, maybe not the nickel - because they have a better coverage backer in Barnett. So he suggests they would burn the 5th pick overall on a player who would play 30 - 40 snaps a game for them? No way.

If his first four projections are accruate, the Pack take Vernon Davis. I would think they value Williams, Ferguson, Lienert, Bush, and Young over Davis.
