I'll be in the subway thinking "somethings a bit different...hmmm," and then I realize it's cuz I'm not baked. Same thing for walking outside in the daytime, eating lunch, etc. My original plan was to take a weeklong break, but then I suffered a brutal 350BB downswing and decided that I would wait to recover from that before I bought a bag. Now I'm thinking of doing an entire month of sobriety just to prove to myself I'm not dependant on it and to get every bit of thc outta my system. I don't think I could ever stop smoking pot permanently. I've thought about it, but I can't see how or why this would happen. [/ QUOTE ] You sound a LOT like me, circa 1996. I had to quit completely because I had a problem.

i dont have a specific age that i'm going to quit. i'll quit when it gets in the way of me getting things done or when i can no longer afford it. i get my [censored] done and i can afford it, so no reason to stop.
when i'm older and have my own family, i can see myself tucking the kids into bed and then burning one with wifey.. whomever that may be.

I never have but expect to develop a pretty strong drug habit in the immediate future to help me get through the 2nd half of my 20s and beyond.

i quit everything when i was about 18
i would most likely do it if it were legal, even though it's easy for me to acquire and i'm not concerned about getting caught. whether it's legal or not, i'm certain it will be a part of my retirement plan when i'm 60+.

19 haven't done it in ~6 months. I just didn't enjoy it anymore and it started making me paranoid so I decided to stop. I'm sure I will smoke in the future but not like I did back in high school.
