the concept of humans being "guilty" is tied to our frame of reference as humans. our goal is to advance humanity and anyone woh goes against it is labeled "guilty" or whatever. you cant call animals innocent because our frame of reference might be as abstract and nonexistent as we perceive theres to ebe

so your reason for preferring to kill humans over animal can't be anywhere near universla

I can honestly say I could kill a person way easier than an animal like a dog or a horse.

[/ QUOTE ]

seriously? why

[/ QUOTE ]

Dogs and horses are innocent, men are not.

[/ QUOTE ]

Another reason as well.

[/ QUOTE ]

you may say that in principle, you would find it easier to kill a person but i highly doubt it would be true in practice

[/ QUOTE ]

I think he's just stating that as a generalization. Animals are innocent by nature, and so relatively unaware of their surroundings that brutality toward them seems harsher than it does with humans.

[/ QUOTE ]

i see what he's implying, i just think it would not go down that way if he actually had to choose.

edit: and i don't mean some extreme scenario where he kills a serial killer or kills a puppy. i'm saying in a vaccuum if i hand him a gun and show him a random dog and a random person he will probably kill the dog.

and answer the question. provided that there was some magicla clock that would wind back time and undo it after you've done it but allow you to keep your money, how much money would you need to "kill" megan fox in that picture (a slow painful murder where she looks with those eyes of hers into yours pleading you not to, not a painless unconnected murder) i'd be surprised if you would be able to do it for any amount of money, stuff like that's impossible because we are intrinsically rooted empathetically to our own kind, and not to animls

But this is based on the widely accepted "common goal of humanity" namely to advance and protect humanity. there's nothing set in stone to say that this is perfect and this is what it should be. it's merely what gives humanity the best chance to survive and advance, it's not necessarily "right",. if you change the goal, you change the rules that we should follow in order ot best acheive that goal

If i had to choose of course I would kill an animal rather than a human being. But if that human had done something to me personally where I could kill them than I would and feel less emotion than I would if forced to kill an innocent animal.

Dogs and horses are innocent, men are not.

No amount of money in the world could ever make me kill someone I otherwise didn't intend on killing.
